I make it difficult for experts to pigeon-hole me - that gives
me a real kick. People ask me, "What kind of music do you play?
Is that ethno, pop, techno, classic, modern?" To which I can
only say, "Sorry, but that's not my problem. It was my problem
until I composed it. Now the ball's in your court."

Right away from release, the new album
Sidi
of Hamid is placed on position No. 6 at
World Music Charts Europe (WMCE).
Once a month radio-Worldmusic-specialists from twenty European
countries select their individual top ten favourites out of
current Worldmusic releases from their playlists. The
nominations are processed in a data-base and the top ten is
then published as the World Music Charts Europe.

To cut short the waiting: the title track "Sidi" is available
in full lenght as MP3
until Nov. 16th, besides as of
today the four first songs for pre-listening, as of Oct.
29th four more songs and from Nov.
2nd on the complete album.
